Dyson V15 Detect Extra Battery Out Of Stock For Months - Vacuum Unusable
The battery of my Dyson V15 Detect Extra vacuum cleaner was confirmed by Dyson customer service to have reached the end of its lifespan approximately two months ago. However, since that date, the battery has not been restocked, and I am currently unable to use my product. Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I have only been told to “wait for stock availability,” without being given any concrete solution or a clear timeline. Under after-sales service obligations, spare parts are required to be supplied within a reasonable period, yet the ongoing uncertainty and delay have caused significant inconvenience. It is unacceptable for a global brand like Dyson to be unable to supply such a basic spare part for this length of time. Since I cannot actively use my vacuum cleaner, I am experiencing clear consumer dissatisfaction and interruption of service. I kindly request that this issue be resolved urgently, either by supplying the required battery without further delay or by offering an alternative solution that adequately remedies my situation. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to pursue my legal rights, including submitting a complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I also request a clear and written response regarding the actions that will be taken to resolve this issue.
The brand opened a very short-term and limited stock after voicing the complaint through various channels.
Dear Customer, Thank you for the feedback you shared with us. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Rest assured that we will handle the matter with sensitivity. Our support center representative will contact you as soon as possible to provide assistance. Sincerely, Dyson Turkey
Even though the waiting time for part procurement is long, the issue has been resolved. Thank you.
