Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Recurring Main Body Failures
I purchased my Dyson V15 Detect Absolute vacuum cleaner on 30 December 2022. The device developed a fault almost exactly when its warranty expired in January 2025. After several discussions, Dyson sent me a replacement main body free of charge in February 2025. In November 2025, even though the device had not displayed any prior operational issues, it suddenly stopped working and I was informed that the battery had reached the end of its lifespan. I had to purchase a new battery at my own expense, and I already have an active complaint about this process. In March 2026, the main body, which had only been in use for about one year, malfunctioned again. This time I was told that the part would not be replaced free of charge. I have not been able to reach anyone beyond the standard customer service representatives and therefore have not been offered any lasting solution. For a three‑year‑old vacuum cleaner, needing two main body replacements and one battery replacement is clearly not normal. In my view, this indicates a chronic manufacturing problem, especially with the main body, and by refusing to acknowledge this Dyson is causing serious inconvenience to its customers. I request that Dyson review my case registered under the name Asli G*** S*** and email address asli.g***@yasar.edu.tr, recognize the recurring defect in this product and provide a permanent, free‑of‑charge solution for the main body and battery so that I can safely continue to use the vacuum cleaner without fear of another failure in the near future.
