Skoda Octavia Factory Defects from Day One – Braking System, Trim Noise

I purchased a Skoda Octavia from Skoda Vimsa Antalya on November 13, 2025, and I have been experiencing serious problems with the vehicle since the day I received it. These issues, which I believe are factory defects, include trim noises, damaged window seals, and a fault in the braking system. For a brand-new vehicle, encountering such problems from day one has raised serious concerns for me, particularly regarding safety and the brand's reliability. Due to these problems, I took the vehicle to the authorized Arca Skoda service center in Ankara. The issues were handled under warranty, and relevant parts were replaced. However, the fact that a new vehicle required such interventions so soon after purchase has significantly shaken my confidence in both the vehicle and the brand. Although I did not incur any additional costs such as travel or accommodation, the stress and loss of trust I have experienced are substantial. As a goodwill gesture and to compensate for these negative experiences, I kindly request that an extended warranty period be provided for my vehicle, that future maintenance services be offered free of charge, and that the installation of a rearview camera also be provided free of charge as an additional goodwill measure. I believe these steps will partly alleviate the inconvenience and loss of trust caused by encountering such defects in a brand-new car and will help restore my confidence in the brand.
