I Face Persistent “Park in P Position” Warning on Skoda Rapid
I own a Skoda Rapid, and I recently started experiencing a recurring warning on my vehicle that says “Park in P Position.” After conducting some research, I found out that this issue is quite common across many Skoda vehicles, affecting a significant number of users. Despite this being a widespread and well-known problem, I was surprised by the service experience I received.
When I visited the authorized Skoda Malatya Miram service center, they confirmed that this is a chronic issue related to the micro switch malfunction. However, even though they acknowledged that the fault is common and systemic, they still charged me for the repair. I find it unacceptable to be financially burdened for a defect that stems from the brand's own manufacturing faults.
This situation has not only caused financial loss but also deep disappointment in the Skoda brand, from whom I expected better customer care and accountability. I request a full reimbursement of the repair fee I paid for fixing the micro switch, as well as an official explanation and apology regarding this issue.
I urge Skoda to take responsibility for this chronic fault, refund the service fee without delay, and ensure that no other customers face similar unfair charges.
