Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Review: Faulty Safety System Causes Sudden Braking and Panic
I purchased a 2024 Skoda Kodiaq from Avek Istanbul Esenler on October 11, 2024, and since day one, it has had serious safety issues. The Proactive Passenger Protection System and Passive Stability System constantly malfunction. The car randomly brakes, turns on the hazard lights, closes the windows, and tightens the seatbelt excessively, even when there’s no obstacle or danger. This is not just frustrating—it’s a serious risk to my safety!
I contacted Skoda customer service multiple times, and my car stayed in the service center for a full week. They told me it was a software issue and that it wouldn’t happen again. But on the very same evening after picking it up, the problem happened again, nearly causing an accident!
To make things worse, at just 3,000 km, I received a low oil level warning, which is completely unacceptable for a new car. Now, I feel unsafe driving, my nerves are shot, and I’m developing anxiety every time I’m behind the wheel.
I demand an immediate resolution—either a full refund, a replacement with an identical working model, or an upgrade to a trouble-free higher model. If Skoda doesn’t take responsibility, I will pursue legal action. This is a major safety concern that needs urgent attention!
