Brand New Skoda Kamiq 1.0 Transmission Failure After 150 Km Issue
My Skoda Kamiq 1.0 Premium model, which I purchased brand new from the Skoda Erel Istanbul Turkey dealership on September 25, 2025, developed a transmission problem after only 150 kilometers. When I took my vehicle to the authorized service center, I was informed that the mechatronic component was faulty and needed to be replaced. My vehicle was taken into service on October 15, 2025, and I was told that the replacement part would arrive from abroad on October 22, 2025, after which the replacement would be done. However, no response was received on the specified date, and I was unable to reach a service advisor. When I contacted the service center again today, I was informed that the part's arrival date had been postponed until October 30, 2025, and that the process would be extended. My vehicle has been at the service center for approximately ten days. During this period, I was provided a replacement vehicle; however, the failure of a brand new vehicle so quickly and the inconvenience I experienced are extremely troubling. I purchased my car with a cash payment, and this is the first time I've encountered such a problem. I was only able to follow up on the entire process by contacting the service center; I did not have any further contact with customer service. My expectation is that the relevant spare part be procured as soon as possible, my vehicle repaired, and returned to me. I demand compensation for my grievance.
