Skoda Superb Full Inspection Missed Costly DPF Fault - Request For Remedy

77

On 09.10.2025, I had my 2016 Skoda Superb with a DSG transmission inspected at Emar Otomotiv using their full expert inspection package, for which I paid ₺8,000. When buying the car, I specifically requested a detailed and comprehensive inspection so that any major issues would be detected and reported to me. After the inspection, I tried to fix a few minor issues on my own; however, I was never warned about any problem related to the diesel particulate filter (DPF), nor was any issue mentioned. In reality, the car has a serious DPF problem that triggers the P200200 fault code, and I later learned that the replacement cost of this part is approximately ₺265,000. The vehicle now constantly shows an error light, and I cannot use it properly. Despite paying a high amount for a so-called full inspection, such a fundamental and very costly fault was not identified, leaving me in a difficult situation. I request that Emar Otomotiv take responsibility for this matter, cover the expenses arising from the DPF issue or repair it at no cost, and resolve my grievance.
