Skoda Fabia Repeated Start/Stop Failures

Our 2022 manual Skoda Fabia’s start/stop system stopped working and was initially replaced under warranty due to a manufacturing defect. About 5–6 months later, we experienced the same issue again, and it was replaced under warranty once more. Now, just 7 months after the second replacement, the same problem has occurred. This time, the service team claims the issue stems from the brake hub and estimates a cost of around ₺17,000, though they are “trying” to process it under warranty. The vehicle is currently at Avek Tekstilkent, waiting for parts that are said to take two weeks to arrive. I suggested this issue be resolved under a good faith warranty, questioning why the brake hub would fail in such a short time. They said someone more authorized would contact me, but no one has called or followed up. They cannot explain how the brake hub could have failed or what may have caused it. If they quoted a reasonable price, we could consider paying, but there is no clarity on whether the previously faulty brake servo contributed to this new issue. I’ve been a Skoda customer for nearly 10 years, and this is the first time I’ve faced such a problem—so we urgently expect a fair and timely solution.
