Transmission Failure In 2019 Skoda Kodiaq
I purchased my 2019 Skoda Kodiaq brand new from Erya Otomotiv, and at only 38,000 kilometers the transmission failed. Since the day I bought it, I have had all maintenance carried out regularly at the same authorized service center. However, after experiencing this breakdown on August 18, I took the car to the service on August 19 at 08:52. While I expected the repair to be covered under goodwill warranty, the service instead demanded ₺65,000, and if that attempt failed, ₺95,000, without mentioning any additional costs. I did not make any payments. Although the warranty has expired, I find this fault unacceptable given that all maintenance has been done exclusively at the authorized service and the car has such low mileage. This is the first transmission failure I have experienced, and during the process, I was unable to reach Skoda headquarters, as the authorized service only asked for payment and offered no solution. Since no repair was carried out, I took my vehicle back. For my car with license plate 34 CBL 25, I consider this a defective issue and demand that the transmission repair be carried out free of charge. I expect my grievance to be resolved.
