Columbia Sportswear offers a one-year limited warranty on footwear, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Since your trekking shoes became deformed and started leaking within seven months, they should be eligible for warranty service.
To initiate a claim, ensure your shoes are clean and have proof of purchase available. Then, complete the warranty claim form on Columbia's website.
After submitting the form, you'll receive a claim number and instructions for sending your shoes to Columbia for evaluation.
If the defect is confirmed, Columbia will either repair the shoes or issue a virtual merchandise credit. For assistance, contact Columbia's Warranty Support at 1-800-622-6953, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm PT.
If you purchased the shoes from a retailer, you might also seek resolution directly through them, as some retailers can assist with warranty claims.
If the retailer isn't able to help, proceed with Columbia's online warranty process as described above.
If none of the above solutions work, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
