My Columbia Waterproof Shoes Let in Water After Just 2 Wears

I bought a pair of Columbia shoes specifically because they were advertised as waterproof. On the second day I wore them, it rained—and to my shock, the shoes absorbed water. This happened just 15 days after purchase.
I sent the product in for inspection, expecting a clear resolution. Instead, I was told the issue was “not caused by us.” They didn’t blame me directly, nor did they identify a manufacturing defect—they simply deflected responsibility. How can a brand known for durability and outdoor reliability allow its shoes to fail within two weeks and then avoid accountability?
I paid a premium for a product I expected to trust, and I ended up getting soaked—literally and financially. Columbia, if you truly stand behind your products, replace these faulty shoes or refund my money. Otherwise, your promises about quality and performance mean nothing.
