Columbia Strata Trail Mid WP Develops Mesh Damage and Leaks
I purchased Columbia Strata Trail Mid WP men’s hiking boots from Columbia’s official online store on March 17, 2025. After purchasing the product, I did not wear it at all for approximately six months, and overall I was only able to use it for a total of two to three months. Despite this limited use, serious peeling and deterioration developed on the upper mesh areas on both the right and left sides, and I also experienced water leakage. I believe that this level of damage occurring in such a short period is not caused by user error but is instead a product-related defect. Because of this issue, I sent the product for inspection on January 30, 2026, but the inspection result was reported to me as negative, without any detailed explanation or proposed solution. The fact that a boot in this price range deformed so quickly after limited use, and that the issue was then dismissed, has seriously damaged my trust in the brand. Since I believe the defect is due to a manufacturing issue, I am requesting a replacement of my Strata Trail Mid WP men’s boots. It is also clear that if I were to repurchase the same product today, I would suffer a financial loss due to the price difference. I respectfully request that my complaint be reviewed again and that I be assisted with a product replacement so that my grievance can be resolved and my trust in the brand can be restored.
In shoes used for no more than three months, it's a user error, right and left, yes haha 😃 be ashamed of your name
