Columbia Rejected My Return for Smelly Peakfreak II Outdry Shoes

On March 01, 2025, I ordered the 'Peakfreak ii Outdry Men's Shoes' from the Columbia store via the Trendyol website. The shoes arrived and a heavy plastic smell came out as soon as I opened the box. I wore them for a week, thinking that it would pass over time. This time, my feet, which had not smelled in other brand shoes for years, started to smell very badly. Thereupon, considering the brand reliability, I created a return request on April 12, 2025 and sent the product to the store. On May 07, 2025, the store rejected my return request with the statement that there was no manufacturing defect. At a time when even ordinary sellers said there was a return guarantee if you did not like it, the rejection statement that reset the brand value of the Columbia brand was a shock. After the shoes arrived, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Board because they were defective. However; I wanted to announce it to everyone through Xolvie. As long as there is no refund or exchange with a perfect product, I will share this bad experience on every platform.

They sent me this document as the justification.
