I Canceled on Hotels.com but Hotel Wasn’t Notified and I Can’t Reach Support

I’m incredibly frustrated with Hotels.com. I canceled my reservation directly through their website, but when I contacted the hotel to confirm, they said they hadn’t received any cancellation notice. This left me confused and concerned about being charged or penalized.

What’s worse is that it’s impossible to reach customer service. There’s no working phone number, no real-time support, and no one to actually help resolve the issue. I had chosen the “pay at hotel” option and entered my card details at the time of booking, so now I have no idea if I’ll be charged or not. The lack of transparency and support is beyond unacceptable.

Hotels.com needs to take responsibility, ensure the hotel receives proper cancellation info, and provide actual human customer service. I expect confirmation that I won’t be charged and immediate clarification about my booking status.
