Unable to Cancel or Update Hotels.com Reservation, No Support Provided

I attempted to cancel a reservation made through Hotels.com, but the process has been a complete nightmare. Despite multiple attempts, I cannot cancel my booking, and the company has failed to provide any response or assistance. The hotel I reserved contacted me, requesting updated card information, but there is no option on the platform to update these details. When I called the hotel directly, they informed me that my reservation is not confirmed and that I won’t be able to stay if the issue persists.

The situation is baffling since my card has sufficient funds and should have been approved. My stay is scheduled for tomorrow, and I’m now stuck in limbo—unable to cancel the reservation or book a new one. This could result in a complete loss of money for both bookings. To make matters worse, when I called the international support line, I was disconnected after being told that I had reached them outside their working hours.

I demand immediate resolution from Hotels.com. Either allow me to cancel my booking or confirm my reservation so I can proceed with my travel plans. This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable.
