I booked and paid for a hotel reservation in Greece through Hotels.com, expecting a smooth and reliable experience. However, the very next day, a hotel staff member personally called me to say they had no available rooms and would cancel my reservation. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had already paid for the stay and made plans accordingly.
What’s even worse is that I have been completely unable to reach anyone from Hotels.com. There’s no customer support phone number that actually works, no email confirmation about the cancellation, and no assistance at all with finding a replacement or refunding my money. It feels like they took my payment, passed me off to the hotel, and disappeared when things went wrong.
This is unacceptable for a platform that advertises as a trusted travel intermediary. I urgently request that Hotels.com issue a full refund for the canceled reservation and respond to me immediately. I expect compensation for the stress, lost time, and inconvenience caused.
