I booked a Turkish Airlines flight through Gotogate (Order No: 1053-125-508) for travel from June 5 to June 9, 2025. Due to my short-term visa, I needed to change the travel dates. However, Gotogate did not assist me with a date change when I reached out in March—just weeks after purchasing the ticket on February 18.
There is no phone number to speak with a real person—only a chat function, which was completely unhelpful and denied my request outright. I then asked to cancel the flight, expecting at least a partial refund after commission and penalty deductions, as outlined by consumer protection law (Article 6502). But I was told neither cancellation nor refund was possible.
I find this unacceptable. I still have a month before the flight—surely the ticket can be resold or reused. Gotogate is not honoring basic consumer rights. If you keep the full amount without offering any alternative, that’s entirely your fault, not mine. I demand that my request for a refund or rescheduling be reconsidered immediately. After this experience, I will never book with Gotogate again and will advise others to avoid the platform as well.
