Adidas Running Shoes Fell Apart After Three Months and Refund Was Denied
On June 21, 2025, we purchased two pairs of Adidas running shoes from the Adidas Nata Vega store, paying a total of $109. However, before even three months had passed, both pairs developed separations and tears along the stitching areas.
As a result, we returned the products to the Adidas Nata Vega store where they were purchased and requested a refund. The shoes were sent for inspection, and on December 17, 2025, I was notified via SMS that our return request had been rejected.
The shoes were never washed in a machine, no damaging process was applied, and they were only cleaned with a damp cloth. Despite this, the return was denied on the grounds of “user error.” I firmly believe that this issue is not caused by misuse, but rather stems from poor product quality.
We did not purchase Adidas shoes expecting to use them for only three months. Unfortunately, I have come to realize that Adidas has lowered its product quality and does not stand behind its products. For the purchase with slip number 000TR21802000027255, I request either a full refund or a replacement with a defect-free equivalent product.
If I continue to receive negative responses, I hereby state that I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue all of my legal rights.
