I booked a round-trip ticket from Istanbul to Dubai through Gotogate, but due to a short-term visa issue, I couldn’t travel on the planned dates. Once the problem was resolved, I immediately contacted Gotogate to either reschedule the flight or convert it into a travel voucher for future use. But contacting Gotogate is a nightmare—they have no customer service phone number. You can only reach them through a web chat, which is frustrating and completely ineffective.
Each time I reach out, I get a different agent giving inconsistent information. One claims there’s absolutely no refund or change possible. Another says I can only get a ₺437 voucher for a ticket I paid over ₺19,000 for. Then someone else says I’d get a ₺2,000 coupon, and when I agree, nothing happens. The process goes nowhere. No follow-up, no confirmation, no action.
Meanwhile, the airline says Gotogate is responsible since I purchased through them, and Gotogate pushes the responsibility back to the airline. I’m stuck in the middle with zero resolution. I feel completely scammed.
Gotogate must take responsibility for the service they offer and provide a clear, consistent refund or voucher process. I want the value of my ticket honored, and I demand immediate action to correct this mess.
