Sephora Recommended Wrong The Ordinary Products and Damaged My Sensitive Skin

On 02/04/2025, I purchased several products from the Sephora Korupark store, all from The Ordinary brand, based on a staff recommendation. I clearly informed the store employee that my skin is dry and sensitive, yet I was still advised to buy the following items:

The Ordinary Eye Serum

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Shortly after starting to use these products, my skin reacted badly. I experienced severe dryness, breakouts, closed comedones, and irritation. After doing my own research, I found that these formulas are not suitable for dry or sensitive skin types.

Because of this incorrect guidance, I’ve suffered both physically and financially. I trusted Sephora’s staff to provide expert advice, but it resulted in visible skin damage and wasted money.

I’m requesting a full refund or exchange for the products and an acknowledgment of the poor recommendation. Sephora must take responsibility for the harm caused by unqualified staff advice.
