I took out a 100k TL housing loan from ING bank in 2019. Recently found out that I've been paying for 3 different insurance policies that I've been asking to cancel for years and the banker said were mandatory but turns out they're not. According to some consumer protection law, if the insured requests the loan-related insurance to be cancelled, the policy gets cancelled and the fee gets refunded to the customer's account. So I'm requesting to cancel the "My Home" housing insurance policy number 26529717 and get the fee deposited back into my account. My loan reference number is 59622888.
