Brand New Volkswagen 2025 Tayron Shows Airbag and Seat Belt Errors From Day One
I purchased a brand new Woswogen 2025 Tayron from Ankara Doğuş Oto on 05/12/2025. Although the vehicle was supposed to be delivered to me in perfect condition, I was informed at the time of delivery that there was a problem, and the dealership could not hand it over immediately. The vehicle was only repaired a week later and then delivered to me, which already shook my trust in a brand-new car. After taking delivery, I went on a trip, and the very next day, on 11/12/2025, a warning light came on again, indicating an airbag error. I immediately took the car to the service center, and this time I was told that the seat belt needed to be replaced. Experiencing such serious safety-related issues as an airbag and seat belt fault in a brand new car is both extremely frustrating and worrying for me. I am driving a vehicle that I am supposed to rely on for my and my passengers’ safety, yet I am constantly concerned about possible hidden faults. I informed the salesperson who sold me the vehicle and handled my transaction about these issues. However, I was told that even brand new cars can have problems and that the decision to replace the vehicle had not been made. I find this response unsatisfactory, as I did not purchase a repaired and problematic vehicle, but a brand new one that should be free of such defects from day one. My vehicle’s plate number is 06 YZB 61. Considering that the car has had problems since the first delivery, and that the same warning reappeared the very next day after taking it on a trip, I have completely lost confidence in this vehicle. I kindly and firmly request that my current Tayron be replaced with a brand new, trouble-free vehicle as soon as possible. I expect this situation to be evaluated urgently and resolved in a way that restores my trust in the brand.
