I bought an eSIM from eSIM io and it never activated while abroad — how can I get my data working now?

If your eSIM io plan didn’t activate abroad, first check in the app that you added the eSIM to your device, selected it as the active data line, turned on data roaming, and your device is unlocked for international use.

According to their setup guide, you must also ensure the eSIM is chosen under “Cellular Data” (or equivalent) and that “Data Roaming” is enabled.

If all settings look correct but you still can’t connect, log into your account in the app, check that your “io Balance” is sufficient and you’ve activated a valid global plan.
