esim io Charged Me for an Unusable eSIM Package, Refunded Only Half

On September 8, 2025, while on vacation in Halkidiki, Greece, I downloaded the esim io app on my phone based on a friend’s recommendation. I purchased an individual data package priced at $12.50, paying $13 USD with my İş Bankası credit card. However, no matter how many times I tried, the service never activated and I was unable to use it.

I immediately contacted customer support through the app. They claimed that they had not received my payment and requested that I send my bank receipt. I checked my account and confirmed the payment had been processed, yet the service was never enabled. After several days with no solution, I ended up downloading another eSIM app, which worked without any issues.

Once I returned to Turkey, on September 16, 2025, I filed a payment dispute through my bank and attached all the necessary documents. Upon reviewing my account, I noticed that only $5.53 had been refunded, while the remaining $7.47 was still charged.

I find it unacceptable to be charged for a service I could not use at all. I demand a full refund of the $13 payment, as I received no service in return.
