I Face Refund Refusal and Incompatibility Issues on eSIM io
On June 28, before my international trip, I downloaded the eSIM io app and paid around ₺700–₺800 (depending on exchange rates) for a package. I checked compatibility beforehand and confirmed that my phone supported the app. Despite this, I was unable to use the service at all.
I also witnessed a friend with a supported phone face the same issue — despite repeated attempts, the app would not work. When I searched for information about refunds, I discovered a clause stating “no refunds”, which I had not seen before purchasing. This means I have effectively paid a large amount of money for an unusable service, with no option to recover my funds.
I had even considered applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, but after reviewing these restrictions, I realized many others are in the same position as me. It is extremely unfair that customers are left with no service and no refund.
I am requesting a full refund for the amount paid, as the eSIM service never worked. At the very least, eSIM io should provide a reliable support process and clear solutions for customers who face activation failures. A company cannot continue taking payments for a service that is frequently reported as unusable without providing any recourse.
