About 3 to 3.5 years ago, I purchased a Dyson Ball All Floors DC25 vacuum. Unfortunately, the brush head attachment has now broken for the second time. At the time of purchase, I was explicitly told that the parts were covered under a 5-year warranty. During the first incident, Dyson handled the issue well and replaced the part, which I appreciated. However, this time I was told the damage is due to “user error” and that I’d need to pay for a replacement—even though it’s the exact same part failing again.
This isn’t a minor accessory—it’s a fundamental brush head that should not degrade so easily under normal usage. I believe there is a structural flaw in the part itself, not in how it’s being used. I reached out via the Dyson WhatsApp support line, but it took over 30 minutes to receive a reply, and the conversation left me even more frustrated due to poor communication and no helpful resolution.
I’ve always chosen Dyson for its premium vacuum cleaners, cordless devices, and hair styling tools, trusting in both product quality and after-sales service. Sadly, this experience has not lived up to that standard. Even though I explained the issue has occurred repeatedly, customer service only offered a paid replacement and dismissed my concerns entirely.
