I purchased the Dyson Big Ball Allergy 2 vacuum cleaner in 2019, and the head attachment has broken three times in the exact same spot (the wheel area) during completely normal home use. The first time it broke, I purchased the replacement myself. The second time, Dyson sent a new one free of charge under warranty. However, my warranty has now expired, and I’m facing the same issue for the third time.
When I tried to buy a new attachment, I contacted Dyson customer service twice. During the first call, I was told that the part was in stock but that I needed to provide the serial number. When I called again the next day, I was informed that the part was out of stock and that I should keep checking the website regularly. Currently, Dyson’s official site lists the attachment at ₺3,600, but it’s unavailable. On other e-commerce platforms, the same part is being sold for as much as ₺5,000.
I have only used the vacuum at home under completely normal conditions, and every break has occurred in the same spot. I haven’t contacted any authorized service center or other technical support provider. At this point, all I want is to obtain the replacement head quickly and at a fair price. I kindly ask Dyson to resolve this issue and provide the spare part to address my grievance.
