I booked a house in Edinburgh, but when I arrived at 6 PM, the place was filthy! We had spent the previous night on a bus and were utterly exhausted, only to find an uninhabitable home. I had to leave immediately because the condition was so disgusting.
I shared all the pictures with Airbnb, and they did refund my nightly rate. However, the host, clearly enraged, didn't stop harassing me. They wrote a false and defamatory review about me, even demanding compensation, claiming I broke their toilet flush (for a house I didn't even stay in)!
In response to this outrageous behavior, I demanded a refund for the much more expensive hotel I was forced to book that night. Airbnb agreed to pay 20% of the hotel cost, but it's been over 15 days, and neither has the defamatory review been removed nor has the promised payment been made!
Airbnb, I demand immediate support to resolve this! I have all the documents and evidence to prove my claims. Remove that malicious review, pay me the agreed-upon 20% hotel refund, and hold this fraudulent host accountable!
