Trip.com Sent My Name Incorrectly To Air Premia
I purchased an Air Premia airline ticket for a Korea–Japan flight through the Trip.com website. I completed the payment directly to Trip.com, but later, when I contacted the airline company, I discovered that my name had been transmitted incorrectly to them by Trip.com.
I made no mistake when entering my information on my side, yet I have been struggling for days to get this error corrected.
For approximately one week, I have been trying to use every communication channel provided by Trip.com. Despite repeatedly attempting to contact them through live chat, phone calls, and email, I have been unable to reach any real customer representative and have only been confronted with automated AI-generated responses.
Because of this, neither the name correction can be completed nor has any concrete solution been offered regarding my issue.
Due to the complete lack of support and the unresolved nature of this problem, I have entirely lost my trust in Trip.com.
Frankly speaking, if someone is comfortable risking their money, they may choose to buy tickets from this platform. Otherwise, I would never want anyone else to experience the same frustration and inconvenience that I am currently facing.
My expectation from Trip.com is that the incorrect passenger name transmitted to the airline be corrected immediately and free of charge.
If this correction cannot be completed, then I request that the ticket be canceled and my payment refunded to me in full.
Since the incorrect information was sent from Trip.com’s own system to the airline, I believe responsibility clearly belongs to Trip.com, and I demand that this customer grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
