Airbnb Refuses Refund for Misleading and Unhygienic Accommodation

I booked a property on Airbnb that turned out to be completely different from the pictures—dirty and unfit for stay. I didn’t even check in, yet Airbnb refuses to issue a refund, claiming it’s up to the host to approve it. Unsurprisingly, the host is unwilling to provide the refund.
This is incredibly frustrating and feels like a complete scam. As a customer, I trusted Airbnb to ensure the accuracy of listings, but this experience has proven otherwise. I am now left without my money and no resolution in sight.
I demand Airbnb step in to provide a full refund and ensure hosts are held accountable for misleading listings. This experience has left me disappointed, and I no longer recommend using Airbnb.
