Deceptive Images and Unsanitary Conditions at Airbnb Rental

Thank you for your interest.

I booked an Airbnb accommodation, made the payment, but the host informed me of a delayed check-in. Upon arrival, the house looked nothing like the photos—sofas covered in dirt and an unpleasant odor. The host claimed the bedding was changed just two days ago.

Unable to stay in such conditions, I canceled. Despite my pleas, the host refused to assist with a refund. I suggested a partial refund, but was rejected.

Airbnb provided no solution, and reaching anyone seems impossible. Why reward a host with inaccurate information for a booking we canceled immediately? I spent my last funds on this. Disappointed and questioning Airbnb's trustworthiness.
