Airbnb Listing In Chur Switzerland Was Completely Misleading

I booked accommodation in Chur, Switzerland through Airbnb for the dates April 20–22. I prepaid the full amount of approximately $329 CHF using my credit card.

The main reasons I chose this listing were the spacious and comfortable-looking rooms shown in the photos and the statement that the property was close to the city center and main square.

However, when we arrived at the property, we discovered that the reality was completely different from the listing description and photos.

The apartment building stairs were extremely narrow and steep, making the property highly uncomfortable and concerning from both a safety and comfort perspective. In addition, the rooms that appeared quite spacious in the listing photos were actually very small and did not match the impression created by the advertisement at all.

Furthermore, the property location was not close to the square or city center as described, and the surrounding area and overall appearance were significantly different from what had been shown in the listing photos.

Because of these issues, we were unable to stay at the property and had no choice but to find another hotel. As a result, we had to pay approximately $640 CHF extra for alternative accommodation.

We also attempted to contact the host, but we were completely unable to reach them and could not find anyone willing to address the issue.

Because the information and visuals presented in the listing did not reflect reality and caused both serious inconvenience and additional financial loss, I request a full refund of the approximately $329 CHF I paid for this April 20–22 reservation.
