I own a Dyson V15 cordless vacuum and have always taken great care of it. Recently, I removed the dust bin to clean it—exactly how it’s shown in the MyDyson app. However, while doing this, the rubber seal (gasket) inside the bin came off. I contacted support expecting a simple fix, but instead, I was told I have to purchase a completely new dust bin just because of this one small part!
What’s worse, they said my warranty expired just four months ago, so I’m out of luck. This is ridiculous—why force me to replace the entire dust bin for a single rubber seal? It’s clearly a detachable and replaceable component, and it's not due to misuse.
Dyson products are known for quality and support, but this experience has completely let me down. I’ve never needed warranty service until now, and when I finally do, they refuse to offer a reasonable solution. Dyson, please reconsider this policy and send me the replacement seal, not the entire bin. It's the right thing to do for your loyal customers.
