I’ve been using my Dyson V15 vacuum without any problems—until I opened the dustbin for routine cleaning. While emptying and wiping it down as I usually do, the rubber gasket and seal inside the bin suddenly came loose. No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot get them back into place. I’ve followed video tutorials, tried different angles, and spent over an hour attempting to fix it—nothing works.
This shouldn’t happen from basic maintenance, especially on a premium product. I didn't force anything or mishandle the vacuum. The seal seems stretched or warped, and now the dustbin doesn’t close properly. I rely on this vacuum regularly, and now it’s completely unusable because of one flimsy part.
I expect better design quality and after-sales support from Dyson. I need an immediate solution—either clear instructions from a technician or a replacement part shipped promptly. Please don’t leave me hanging over a part failure that wasn’t caused by user error. A product this expensive should not create this much hassle during normal use.
