Hello,
I purchased a Dyson Airwrap hair styler in September 2020. Despite regularly cleaning and maintaining the filter, the device initially started overheating and shutting off after about half an hour of use. Recently, it has been shutting off within 5 minutes.
When I called Dyson, I was directed to a service center after a video call. Approximately 5-6 hours after leaving the product at the service center, they called me to say that my device is no longer usable and needs to be retired. They offered either to leave the product with them and get a 25% discount on a new product purchase, or to return the device I had left at the service center.
In conclusion, the product I purchased at a very high price and have been using inefficiently since the beginning has become worthless/scrap. What kind of malfunction is this that cannot be repaired? Additionally, upon researching, I found that many other users are suffering from the same problem. I request support regarding this issue.
