Samsung Washing Machine Smoking and Smelling Like Burning Rubber
My Samsung washing machine has been excessively noisy since the beginning, but over the past week it has started emitting smoke during operation and producing a strong burning rubber smell. I purchased the machine from Aksu Çarşı in Esenyurt, Istanbul, and the fact that it has reached this condition in less than four years has seriously concerned me. I have reached the point where I fear for our safety every time I turn it on.
After experiencing this issue, I contacted Samsung customer service and a technician was sent to inspect the machine. Following the inspection, I was quoted a repair cost of approximately $464, which is extremely high. Considering the relatively short period of use and the dangerous nature of the problem (smoke and burning smell), I cannot accept that such a major failure has occurred so quickly, and I am surprised that the company is not standing behind its product.
I am requesting that Samsung resolve this matter promptly by offering one of the following remedies: free repair, product replacement, or a full refund. If the company does not take responsibility, I have video evidence showing the machine operating while emitting smoke, and I will escalate this matter to all relevant authorities. For both safety and financial reasons, I do not want this situation to continue any longer.
