I am the owner of a 2024 Kia Stonic that is currently under warranty, as confirmed by the Kia Gül-Al authorized service center. For approximately the past four months, I have been experiencing a serious safety issue with the vehicle. The parking sensors, forward collision assist, and automatic braking systems activate on their own without any apparent reason. Because of this problem, I cannot drive my vehicle with peace of mind, and I feel anxious every time I get into the car with my family. Most recently, on January 20, 2026, I experienced the same issues again.
So far, I have taken my vehicle to the Çekmeköy Gülal Kia authorized service center three to four times due to this defect. Each time, they only performed calibration, but the issue was never permanently resolved, and the same malfunctions continued to occur. Although I repeatedly took photos and videos and sent them to the company, the recordings I provided were not taken into consideration, and I was constantly asked to provide new and different footage. At the service center, a person who introduced himself as a manager, identified as V*****, stated that they would resolve the issue, yet no concrete action was taken and no parts were replaced.
During our most recent visit, they informed me that they had performed calibration, that they could not reproduce the issue during their test drives, and that they could not replace any parts because the system did not generate an error code. However, these safety systems have repeatedly endangered me and my family by activating unexpectedly, and I am writing this as someone who has narrowly avoided two potential accidents. Despite this, the failure to provide a permanent solution and the refusal to replace defective components is unacceptable.
I hold Kia Gül-Al and Çelik Motor responsible for any potential material damage or loss of life that may result from these ongoing issues. For all these reasons, I request that the faulty safety and sensor systems in my 2024 Kia Stonic be replaced under warranty with original, defect-free parts. Otherwise, I will pursue my legal rights and continue to publicly document the serious safety risk I am experiencing.
