If the price of a hotel you booked through Booking.com goes up all of a sudden, you can dispute the change in the following ways:
- Get in touch with Booking.com's customer service and stress that they are responsible for correct pricing. Ask them to stick to the price they originally quoted.
- Go over the reservation terms and conditions that you agreed to when you made the reservation. Booking.com may be able to change prices because of these terms, but there may be times when they can't. This is especially true if the change is big or because of Booking.com's mistake.
- If Booking.com can't solve the problem, try talking to the hotel directly. The situation should be explained to the hotel manager, and it should be looked into whether they can honor the original price.
- If the problem can't be solved, you can file a complaint with online platforms like ours which try to help settle disagreements between customers and businesses.
