Booking.com Refused Price Match After Hotel Rate Dropped by ₺15,114
I made a reservation through Booking.com at Alea Hotel and Suites for 21–23 July, with a total price of ₺37,784.15. After completing my reservation, I noticed that the price for the same room and the same dates on Booking.com dropped to ₺22,670. I contacted Booking.com to request a price match in line with your price guarantee. Customer service told me that they needed evidence of the lower price in euros. However, all my reservation and price information is in Turkish lira, and by the time I checked again the rooms at the lower price were already reserved, so I could not obtain any additional screenshot in euros. I have already shared my TL-based reservation details and the price difference, but my request was not accepted. My expectation from Booking.com is that the price guarantee is applied to my 21–23 July Alea Hotel and Suites reservation and that the lower current price is matched, or the difference between ₺37,784.15 and ₺22,670 is refunded to me in accordance with your policy.
