Booking.com Did Not Disclose a €60 Hotel Tax Before My Stay

I made a reservation through Booking.com for a stay at Holiday Inn Brussels between May 19 and May 21, under the reservation number 4785643. During checkout, the hotel charged me an additional 60 EUR for taxes, stating that these had not been paid. However, this tax charge had not been clearly indicated anywhere on the Booking.com reservation or price breakdown. I believe this extra 60 EUR should have been transparently shown during the booking process, as it directly affects the total cost of the stay. The lack of clear information led to an unexpected expense at the hotel, which I find unfair and misleading as a customer. I contacted both Booking.com and Holiday Inn Brussels customer service regarding this issue, but I was told that they could not help me. I am therefore requesting a refund of the unexpected 60 EUR tax charge or an alternative fair solution, and I also ask that Booking.com clearly indicate such tax charges in the future so that other customers do not face the same situation.
