Booking.com Refuses Price Match Even After Proof of Lower Price

Booking.com claims to offer price matching. I found the same hotel at a lower price on another website and sent them both the link and screenshots as proof. Not only did they fail to apply the price match, they did not follow up on the issue at all. Even though I clearly wrote that I was requesting a price match, they responded by saying “we called you but couldn’t reach you.”
This statement is not true. There was no phone call and no message sent to me. The customer service provided was extremely inadequate, and my request was effectively ignored despite being clear and documented.
