Unauthorized $1,100 Overcharge on Booking.com New York Hilton Reservation

I made a room reservation at the Hilton Hotel in New York for September 4, 2026, and processed the transaction via Booking.com by calling 888-9740-436. During the call, I was told the total fee would be $450, but $1,550 was deducted from my credit card. This massive discrepancy has caused serious distress. After noticing the discrepancy, I attempted to contact the hotel and Booking.com multiple times, but I was constantly stonewalled and received no concrete response. No one provided an explanation regarding the overcharge, and no refund has taken place yet. I demand an immediate refund of the overcharge amount of approximately $1,100 (charging $1,550 instead of $450) and a clear explanation regarding this transaction.
