Is the audio from your AirPods sounding imbalanced or skewed? You’re not the only one experiencing this issue and many are trying to find their ways out of this struggle. We can help you by outlining a few ideas that might help:
• Clear AirPods. Earwax and other debris blocking speaker vents can unbalance AirPods. AirPods should be wiped dry and soft. Clean speaker vents gently with a cotton swab.
• Check your device's balance. Maintain balance. Check device balance in Settings > Accessibility. Slide Audio/Visual Balance to center.
• Restart your AirPods and device. A restart can fix minor software glitches that cause audio imbalance. Remove your AirPods from the charging case after 30 seconds to restart. Restart your device by pressing Power until the "slide to power off" screen appears. Off the power by sliding right. Restart by holding the Power button until the Apple logo appears.
• Reset AirPods. Reset AirPods if audio imbalance persists. Reset AirPods by placing them in the charging case and pressing the back setup button for 15 seconds. Many white and orange flashes precede the charging case light turning white. The setup button releases when the light turns white.
• Update device software. Apple frequently updates software to fix bugs and improve performance. Ensure your device has the latest software. Software updates can be checked under General in Settings. After Software Update, download and install.
