Apple Charged Me for Replacing My Faulty AirPods Pro 1st Gen with Crackling Issue
I’ve been using the AirPods Pro 1st generation, and after a while, they started to have this annoying crackling sound issue. Turns out, it’s a pretty common problem with this model. I was really surprised to find out that Apple knows about this problem but only provides a replacement if you pay after a certain time has gone by. This seems really unjust, particularly since the issue is obviously caused by a recognised flaw in the product. I used to have faith in Apple for delivering quality devices, but this experience has made me rethink that trust. It's very frustrating to witness a big company pushing out products that have obvious problems and then turning around and asking customers to fork over cash for fixes. Apple definitely needs to step up and provide free replacements for these defects. It's only fair.
