If your USPS package hasn’t moved in days with no tracking updates and you want action;
Check tracking details first;
• Go to USPS → Track & Confirm
• Note:
– Last scan location
– Date & time of last update
– Service type (First-Class, Priority, etc.)
• Screenshot the tracking page
Check normal transit times;
• Compare with estimated delivery date
• Some services don’t scan at every stop
• Delays can happen due to weather or backlog
Contact your local Post Office;
• Call the branch near the last scan location
• Provide:
– Tracking number
– Sender & recipient address
• Ask if the package is physically there
Submit a Help Request form;
• Go to USPS → Help → “Where is my package?”
• File a service request online
• You should receive a callback/email within a few days
Open a Missing Mail search (if no movement 7+ days);
• Submit a Missing Mail request with full details
If USPS does not respond or resolve it, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to pursue a resolution.
