Damaged Suitcase On Southwind Airlines Flight

On 19 September 2026 I travelled with Southwind Airlines on flight 2S4061 from Antalya (AYT) to Bucharest (OTP). The passenger name was Yuliia T***, seat 39F, and the baggage tag number was 0790 891483. My suitcase was in perfect condition when I checked it in at Antalya airport. When I collected my suitcase in Bucharest, one wheel was almost completely torn off and the suitcase was clearly damaged. At Bucharest airport the staff refused to issue a damage report (PIR) and told me to contact the airline directly. On 21 September 2026, still within the 7‑day deadline under the Montreal Convention, I sent a written damage claim by e‑mail to [email protected], attaching photos of the damaged suitcase, the baggage tag and my boarding pass. Since then I have not received any reply, confirmation or claim number from Southwind Airlines. My travel agent City.Travel informed me that, in such cases, all claims must be handled directly with the airline. I also tried to use the claim form on help.southwindairlines.com, but it could not find my booking because I travelled on a charter paper ticket and the only PNR I have is RS3Q5D, issued by Turkish Ground Services at check‑in. I kindly ask Southwind Airlines to register my baggage damage claim, provide me with a claim reference number and compensate the damage to my suitcase in the amount of 210 EUR.
