On July 3rd in Antalya, I used the Uber Taxi service and experienced an unfair overcharge on my account. Here is the exact timeline and problem I encountered:
At 22:41, I called for a taxi through the Uber app. However, the driver named Y**** never showed up, even after waiting more than 10 minutes. I had to cancel the ride due to the delay. Afterwards, around 22:55, I requested another taxi, and this time, driver F***** accepted the ride and picked me up. The estimated fare for this trip was displayed as ₺112.50, which was clear before I started the journey.
However, when I checked my bank account, I saw that multiple amounts had been charged: ₺112.50, ₺112.00, ₺150.00, and ₺40.00. I cannot understand why these additional charges occurred. The only completed trip was with driver F*****, and the agreed-upon fare was ₺112.50.
I kindly request Uber to review this situation urgently, explain these unauthorized charges in detail, and immediately refund the excess amounts taken from my card. As a loyal Uber user, I expect transparency and prompt resolution to restore my trust in the platform.
