I Face Overcharge On Uber Taxi Due To Driver's Route Choice

I recently used the Uber Taxi service and faced an overcharging issue due to the driver's route choice. During the ride, I noticed that the route taken was unnecessarily longer than the normal route. When I asked the driver why we took this route, he simply replied that he preferred it that way.

On a different ride-sharing app, this same distance usually costs around 200₺, but due to the driver's actions and inflated taximeter reading, my Uber fare was significantly higher. I paid much more than the standard fare for this trip, which I find completely unfair and misleading.

I immediately contacted Uber support and reported this issue, but I have not received any meaningful response so far. This situation has caused me both financial loss and frustration, as I expected transparent pricing and fair treatment from Uber.

I request a full refund of the excess amount charged for this trip and expect Uber to review the driver's actions and provide a satisfactory resolution. Please address this matter urgently and prevent similar experiences for other users.
