Today, I took an Uber Taxi ride from Pendik Marmara Training and Research Hospital to Tuzla Eflani Street. The driver, named T****, was driving a vehicle with the license plate 34 *** 79. At the end of the trip, the driver requested ₺580, which I paid in cash. However, after leaving the car, I noticed in the Uber app that the actual fare was ₺340.
My Uber account is registered under M** T****.** I contacted Uber customer support regarding the issue, but I have not received any response yet. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this.
I request that the extra ₺240 charged by the driver be refunded to me and that Uber take appropriate action to prevent drivers from overcharging passengers outside the app.
