In April 2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers GO Run 7.0 shoes from the Konya Kent Plaza store. I used them only for walking, yet within just a few months the stitching on the sides and upper part began to come apart, and small tears developed. This was extremely disappointing, especially given the price and the brand’s reputation.
At the end of July 2025, I returned the shoes through the store to Olka Spor Malzemeleri Tic. A.Ş. under warranty. I waited about 15 days for the result, only to receive the shoes back with a note stating that the damage was not caused by a manufacturing defect and was considered “user error.” This explanation is unacceptable. My family has purchased many Skechers products over the years, and none of them showed such defects. The fact that only this pair developed such issues strongly suggests a production fault, not misuse.
For a product costing this much, I expect durability and quality proportional to the price. Dismissing the issue with a vague “user error” claim creates the impression that no proper inspection was conducted.
